Unveiled

Unveiled

Ashamed, neglected, anxious.
The woman awaits the groom’s arrival.
He removes the veil displaying
Bitterness, resentment, and hurt.

With a single stroke
He wipes the tears
Of deeply embedded pain.

Unlike the last hand,
HisĀ heals,
ProvidesĀ life,
And resurrects.

The veil removed.
The heart exposed.

The pain revealed.
The hurt healed.

Life renewed.
