Sweetness, Anointing.
When in the world we feel abandoned,
There’s a sweet abandonment
In our abandoning this world.
When our emotions collapse,
When those we love leave,
When those who provide security become selfish,
When the world’s provisions come to an end,
Sweetness and anointing,
Honey and oil,
The provisions of Jehovah Jireh become our strength.
We can sweetly abandon the cares of this world
Relying on a God who cares.
A God who provides
Sweetness for physical strength and
Oil for spiritual strength.
Abandon the physical, financial,
And emotional cares of this world
For a world filled with Jesus.
